Accreditation

London Empire Academy offers a range of nationally accredited qualifications. We are recognised by a number of national awarding organisations to offer those qualifications. These organisations are:

The accredited status of a qualification is very important to you as a learner. It is a mark of quality which means you can trust the qualification that you are taking will be fit for purpose.

If a qualification is accredited it gives you the following:

  • You know that the quality of the qualification has been scrutinised by the education authorities in    England.

  • You know that the qualification is nationally recognised and will be taken seriously by employers and    admissions officers in further and higher education.

  • You know that the content you are taught will be up-to-date and relevant.

  • You know that the assessment of your qualification will be accurate and reliable.

  • You know that any issues or questions will be dealt with quickly and professionally.

  • Accreditation by the British Council

We have also achieved another important accreditation. We have been accredited by the British Council, which means we have been inspected by the British Council and have passed the inspection.

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for educational and cultural relations. Its inspection process is rigorous, so British Council accreditation is your guarantee of quality in English Language Teaching.

The importance of the national level given to the qualification

London Empire Academy offers a number of different qualifications at Levels 5, 6 and 7 in the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

The level of your qualification provides very important information. It defines the level of difficulty of your qualification and what the qualification will lead to. The qualification level is used by admissions officers, for example, to establish whether you have the right level of knowledge and skills to start a course at a university in the UK.

The Qualifications and Credit Framework and National Qualifications Framework contain a wide range of professional and vocational qualifications. These types of qualifications are focused on developing the skills needed for the workplace.

The UK Government has made sure the levels of these national qualifications can be directly compared to the different levels of university qualifications. So if you take a professional qualification at Level 7 with us you know it as at the same level of difficulty as a Master’s degree offered by a university.

Understanding the level of your qualification helps you plan your learning and work out what qualifications you need to qualify for a particular profession.
